Dear OilerNation,
I hope this message finds you well. Due to anticipated freezing rain and the potential for hazardous road conditions, we have made the decision to cancel in-person learning for tomorrow, Monday, January 22, 2024.
In place of in-person classes, students will participate in an e-learning day. Teachers have prepared assignments and further instructions on Google Classroom for students to access from home. It is important that all students check their Google Classrooms for assignments and any additional information from their teachers.
The safety of our students, staff, and families is our top priority, and we believe this decision is in the best interest of everyone's well-being. Freezing rain is expected to spread northeast across the area overnight Sunday into Monday morning, starting before the morning commute. This may lead to slick driving conditions on untreated roads, posing a potential risk to travel.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we prioritize safety during inclement weather. If you have any specific concerns or questions, please feel free to reach out to the school office.
Stay safe and warm.
With Oiler Pride,
Mr. Miller, Superintendent

Congratulations to Bradee Shewmake for being named an all conference cheerleader.
