**Coach Colona is looking for volunteers to help with the Great River Road Run on Saturday, November 26, from 8am to noon. If interested please contact Coach Colona at the email address sent to you by Mrs. Robinson.
**The EAWR Bonfire is tonight from 6:30-8:30. This event is for EAWR students and staff ONLY. Please see the flyer sent by Mrs. Robinson for additional information.
**Senior cap and gown packets were distributed to seniors during academic lab yesterday. If a senior was absent please see Mrs Hayes in the Guidance Office for a packet. All orders for cap and gown/other senior items are due next Wednesday, November 15th during the lunch hours. Jostens is asking for a $60 deposit if ordering additional items. They will accept cash, card, or a check. Checks should be made payable to Jostens.
**Girls who plan to participate in the 23/24 bowling season must attend a mandatory meeting during AL next Monday, November 13. Please get a pass from Coach Herron or Coach Kinkel before the meeting to attend. We will go over the season expectations, schedule, distribute the uniform, and more.
**Juniors and seniors are selling Cardinal Calendar as a fundraiser for After Prom. Calendars are $17 each and orders and money needs to be turned into the Attendance Center by November 17th. Checks can be made payable to EAWR After Prom.
**Students, all community service hours turned in by November 1st have been updated in Skyward. If there are questions please stop by the Attendance Center.
**The CCC will be closed today hours 1, 2, 3 and academic lab for a meeting.

Cross Country held their awards on Sunday and Boys Golfers will receive a message from Coach Forsting on their awards as there may be a golf simulator scramble in their future.

Boys bowling will resume today. For those riding the bus, be at the bus circle by 2:55. Practice begins at 3:15 for all.

**Anyone interested in joining the Scholar Bowl team should meet in Mrs. Miller's room (E224) during Academic Lab tomorrow. If you aren't able to be at the meeting, please stop by and see Mrs. Miller as soon as possible.
**Are you ready to Rock November? Let's get ready with a school wide Rock, Paper, Scissors Challenge! All students will receive 2 beaded necklaces. During passing periods & lunch, you can challenge a classmate with a beaded necklace to a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors. Winner takes 1 beaded necklace. There will also be Gold Beads to win from staff! Awesome prizes are up for the taking! Beads and Rules will be given during 1st hour. Let's get ready to rock!
**Say "Boo" to Bullying! Stop by the Guidance Office Bulletin Board located in the East Building to read inspirational Boos by students and pick up a sweet treat while they last!

The Oilers MarioKart esports team competed in the state playoffs against Unity Christian Phoenix on Tuesday. The best of 5 series went 5 races and although we lost the point difference at the end was only 6 points. Congratulations to the Oilers racers.

The Wood River Fire Department would like to give HUGE thanks to Mr. Sitze and his welding students at East Alton - Wood River CHSD 14. They built a hose storage rack for the firehouse to match our existing one, doubling our hose storage space.

**The student council blood drive is today in the aud gym. You cannot cut through the gym today and PE classes should report to the big gym unless your teacher told you otherwise. Please do not come to the blood drive until your scheduled time. You will receive a pass.

**Attention gamers! The first official meeting for Pokémon Unite, Counter Strike 2 and Splatoon 3 will be after school in the CCC tomorrow 10-26. Please bring your Chromebook if you wish to attend and play competitive esports for EAWR.
**Students: JFL is looking for volunteers this Sunday, October 29th. There are two different shifts: 10:30 am-1 pm and 1 pm-3 pm. If you would like to sign up please do so in the document shared by Mrs Robinson.
**Student Council is hosting a blood drive on October 30th during the school day. You must be 16 or older to donate and those who donate will receive a voucher for a gift card. Please see or email Mrs. Timmins to make an appointment.
**This week is National Red Ribbon Week, sponsored by Peer Leadership. This year's theme is "Be Kind to Your Mind - Live Drug Free." During lunch be sure to grab a self-care bingo card. Get a bingo and collect a prize from Ms. Mueller or Mrs. Miller. Also be on the lookout for some creepy crawlers posted around the school with prevention facts. Finally, snap a selfie with friends by the media backdrop in the East Building. Props are provided. You can DM your photo to the School Spirit facebook page for posting.
