Our JV cheer team finished 5th overall in the small school division at the ICCA state finals. Nicely done!

**Student Council is inviting everyone to come out tonight to pack the gym. The boys basketball team is facing Greenfield and we are packing the gym with both teacher and student cheering sections. The theme is jerseys and varsity will start around 7pm. Be there to cheer on the team and see who is louder: the students or the teachers!
**Mrs. Robinson is still looking for senior volunteers to work tonight at the home game. If interested, please email Mrs Robinson.
**There will be a meeting in E220, Mr. Forsting's room, next Wednesday, January 25th during academic lab for anyone interested in participating on the golf team next year. We will begin off-season training in the very near future and would like to cement a roster as soon as possible. See Mr. Forsting for a pass to attend.
**Attention Juniors and Seniors with a GPA of 3.5 or above: You are eligible to join our school's chapter of the National Honor Society. Please check your school email for information on our February 1st meeting and to access the code to join our Google Classroom page. Current members who were inducted last year do not need to reapply or attend the meeting.
**Big Sisters: We have a meeting during Academic Lab in room E121 today. We will be voting on King of Hearts and Junior Executive Board using Google Forms. We will also discuss Bake Sales and other King of Hearts details. Be there!
**Big Sisters will be having a Bake Sale at the home boys' basketball games tonight. Items will be $1 each! Stop by and get some sweet treats! Cash only.
**The Pennies for Patients Fundraiser will continue through January 31st for 6th hour classes. Our school goal is to raise over $800! Prizes will be given for the winning classes, 1st place Pizza Party, 2nd and 3rd Place Cookies for the Class! So, keep bringing in the change!


A big weekend ahead for Oiler winter sports! It is Jr. Oilers Night at the boys basketball game. Jr. Oilers and their parents receive free admission for the high school game and we have free OilerNation shirts available to the first 75 in attendance.

**Big Sisters is holding the Pennies for Patients Fundraiser until Tuesday, January 31st. 6th hour classes will compete to raise the most money to be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The winning class will get a pizza party, so bring in your loose change or cash to donate to the box in your 6th hour class!
**Guidance will be meeting with juniors during academic lab today to discuss the scheduling process. Please send all juniors to the auditorium at the start of academic lab today.

Varsity Cheer will compete tomorrow morning in the Cahokia Conference Competition. This competition will be at Waterloo High School as it is also the MVC Competition. Both conferences partner to host this large event.
