**Tomorrow is National See You at the Pole Day. This is an opportunity to spend a few minutes of fellowship with each other. Schools around the country will be doing the same. If interested, join us at the flagpole outside the Memorial Gym at 7:40 am tomorrow.
**Seniors, you are required to have the Meningitis Vaccine by October 15. Please turn in proof of the vaccine to the school nurse before the deadline.
Freshmen, physicals and proof of current immunizations are also required and need to be turned in to the nurse by October 15th.
Students who do not have the required paperwork turned in by October 15 will be excluded from school until it is turned in.
**There will be an 11:25 dismissal this Friday, September 30th.
**Attention Drama Club Members: There will be a drama club meeting THIS THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 29th at 5pm in the Auditorium with play rehearsal following after. Please attend this meeting to discuss topics and vote on decisions pertaining to activities going on throughout the rest of the semester.
**There will be a Fortnite meeting today in the College and Career Center after school to discuss the upcoming Fortnite season.
**The Booster Club is looking for volunteers tonight for concessions. If you would like to volunteer please reply to this email. There are only 2 spots available.
**The Oiler Booster Club is also looking for volunteers this Friday for the home football game to help with concessions from 6:30pm-9:30pm. If you’d like to volunteer please sign up in the attendance center.

Congratulations to Kailey Watt on being crowned the 95th Queen of the Harvest. Great job band, choir, theater department, and homecoming court on an excellent night. Also what a great homecoming dance at EAWR tonight. Over 350 students attended and danced the entire night. Great job DJ Daniels. 
**Coronation will be held at 7:30 pm this Saturday--doors up at 7pm. This event is open to the public and all tickets must be purchased at the door for $5. Following Coronation there will be a short photo session in the East Building Courtyard.

The dance will be held in the Courtyard and students will enter through door E2. The cost for the dance is $5 paid at the door. Snacks will be sold at the dance for $1 each.

**East Alton recently held the 27th annual Soap Box Race for Fun. If you have participated in this event in the past and have a photo of yourself doing so, the school newspaper, The Oiler Times, would love to publish one of your memories! There is a survey in your email where you can submit your photo! All photos are due no later than this Sunday night at midnight.
**The cafe will only be open until the end of 1st hour today!
