**Student council is holding a blood drive next Wednesday. You must be 16 or older to donate. See or email Mrs Timmins to make an appointment.
**The spirit bus for the playoff football game is $10 and must be paid to reserve your spot. Sign up in the attendance center. Bus is leaving at 9 am this Saturday and returning around 9 pm.
**There are a few spots left for the Student Council pumpkin painting party and contest. If you would like to participate, please sign up in the attendance center. We will paint pumpkins tomorrow after school in the courtyard. All supplies will be provided, but we are limited to 25 participants, so sign up asap!
**Halloween is on Monday the 31st and students are encouraged to wear orange and black to school that day. Please note that students are not allowed to dress in costumes, wear face paint or wear costume masks.
**Chief Wells and the City of Wood River is looking for volunteers to walk in the WR Parade this Saturday to hand out flyers for the chili dinner and also hand them out following the parade. You would need to arrive at 10 am and should be done around 12:30 pm. If you are interested please sign up in the Attendance Center.
**Attention Drama Club Members: There will be a drama club meeting tomorrow at 5pm in the Auditorium. Please attend this meeting to discuss musical auditions and hear the announcement of the Officer Ballot.

Here are the details for the 2:00 pm playoff football game at Coal City on Saturday. Tickets may be purchased on GoFan for $5. You may also purchase at the gate on game day for $6. We will have a fan bus leaving at 9 am from the bus circle for EAWR students only. It is $10 per student and the sign up sheet is in the attendance center. Students who ride the fan bus must ride it back to EAWR after the game.
Passes are not accepted as this is an IHSA postseason event.

Student Council and Spirit Club is sponsoring "Win The Week" in celebration of the football team's state playoff game.
**Community Donations**
If anyone is interested in making donations to the Oiler Store for the community day, drop off will be available today, Monday, October 24th from 3-6 pm at the East Building/Bus Circle Doors (E2). Please no knives, large furniture, or appliances.

At our IHSA playoff viewing party last night, Coach Herron announced that Seth Slayden has officially broken the school's all time single season rushing record. The record was previously held by Oiler great Travis Williams who went on to play at the University of Illinois.

Aidan Loeffelman finished 8th overall today at the Wesclin Regional, qualifying for Sectionals next Saturday.
