A big thank you to Mrs. Kinkel, Mrs. Sharpmack and everyone else that helped organize/set up the community event yesterday. A special thanks to our student volunteers, as well as Mrs Kinkel for volunteering Saturday morning to help with the event and then cleaning up after the event.
Jamal Burgess finished in 2nd place today at 132 pounds at the Steve Bradley Invitational in Bethalto.
The EAWR Community Event is underway. We are open in the East Building from 830-11 am.
Wrestling and basketball fans have a great opportunity today to spend an entire day watching the sports they love.

**Don't forget to reserve your yearbook! You can order it now for $50 before the price goes up to $60 beginning January 1--just bring $50 (cash or check payable to EAWR) to the Art Room, M-009. You can also order your yearbook online using the link on our school's homepage.

**EAWR has partnered with Toys for Tots. Donation boxes are outside of the attendance center if you would like to donate a toy for a child.
**MORP guest forms are now available outside of Mrs Timmins and Mr Daniels classroom. Forms are due back next Monday.

**Seniors: Spirit Club is going to host a poster party Wednesday, Dec 6th to make senior winter sport/band posters. This event is for seniors only and it will be held in the east building courtyard from 6 to 8 PM. All seniors who participate will receive service hours and all seniors are invited. Mrs. Robinson will provide pizza for everyone that attends the event.
**The Wood River VFW is looking for volunteers to help bag toys for their Toys to Tots program on Saturday, December 9th starting at 9:30 am. If you are interested in volunteering please go to the Wood River VFW (located on Edwardsville Road--down from the high school). Please check in with a worker to let them know you are there to volunteer.

Congratulations to Varsity Boys Bowling on achieving the extremely rare TIE in bowling. Ties are extremely hard to come by in the sport of bowling but it happened yesterday vs. Dupo.
Today, we have the home opener for Boys Basketball vs. SIUE Charter of East St. Louis. JV begins at 6:00 pm. Students who are currently on a winter roster, esports, scholar bowl, or band receive free admission with proof they are a student. Proof can be your ID badge or you can show the gate worker your skyward photo on your phone.
We also have Boys and Girls Bowling this afternoon at 4:00 pm vs. Sparta. This match is at Legion Bowl in Steeleville (Legion Bowling Inc, 305 S Chester St, Steeleville, IL 62288).
Looking forward to the home opener tomorrow night in boys basketball! The Oiler Booster Club will be selling Heaterz Chicken. Chicken tenders are $7 and sandwiches are $6. Come hungry for Heaterz and for a win!

Athletic schedule for Mon, Nov. 27. The varsity girls basketball game will be played at 6:00 pm followed by a shortened JV game. WBGZ will be broadcasting the varsity game on 107.1 FM and 1570 AM.
