**The King's Dance will be held on Saturday, February 26th. (The King's Dance and TWIRP are the same dance. TWIRP was the previous name and no one knew what it meant, so it is now called the King's Dance, since it is where we crown the King of Hearts) This dance is open to all 9th-12th graders. Guests will also be allowed at the dance, but a guest form must be filled out and turned in by February 18th. Guest forms can be picked up outside of Mrs. Timmins and Mr. Daniels classrooms. Rules for which guests can and cannot attend the dance are listed on the form. Masks are required.

The student council will also sell roses during 3rd and 4th hours in the cafe on Friday and Monday. Those roses will not be delivered, you will just take them at the time of purchase.
**There will be an army recruiter outside of the student center today to talk to any juniors or seniors interested in joining the army.
**The theme for Saturday’s basketball game is red, white and blue. JV starts at 4pm and varsity starts at 5:30.

**Big Sisters is pleased to announce that we made over $500 from the Pennies for Patients fundraiser. The amount will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. A special donation was made by Mrs. Moore in honor of her father who passed away from lymphoma in September. We thank you all for your donations! Mrs. Mueller's 1st hour Spanish class raised the most money and will receive donuts! Mr. Forsting's , Mrs. Blackwell's and Mrs. Catlin's classes collected other generous amounts! Thanks again!

**On Sunday, Emmanuel Kitchener and Car-Vante Beckwith attended the Special Olympics regional Basketball skills event. The boys tied each other to both earn a Gold medal. Way to go boys!!
