Tomorrow's boys regional basketball game vs. Marquette has been moved up to a 5:00 pm start time because of the potential for winter weather. The basketball bus will leave at 3:15 and the cheer bus at 3:35.
The game will be at Greenville High School. Let's Go Oilers!
**Vote for your favorite King of Hearts by donating money into his box in the East Building courtyard through Friday at 11am! Big Sisters will donate all money raised to a local charity and the King will be crowned Saturday at the King’s Dance.
**The King's Dance will be held this Saturday. This dance is open to all 9th-12th grade EAWR students. Guests will be allowed at the dance, but a guest form must be filled out and turned in today. Rules for which guests can and cannot attend the dance are listed on the form. King's dance tickets are $10 a piece and can be purchased this week after school or during academic lab from Mrs. Timmins and Mr. Daniels in room E207 and E208. Tickets will NOT be sold at the door, so you must come and purchase them in advance!
**After school tutoring is available Monday-Friday in room E121 from 2:30-3:00 pm.
**For anyone interested in trying out for the 2022-2023 cheer squad….There will be a quick meeting after school today in Mr. Beachum‘s room (M104) to pick up the tryout permission slip!
**Big Sisters- We will take our yearbook photo today right after school at 2:36pm in the East Building Courtyard. Be prompt, it won't take long!

O1L3RZ esports are in the capitol city for the IHSEA Smash Brothers state final tournament
Boys basketball regional play in game today at EAWR. 2:00 tip. $5 for everyone and no passes are accepted as this is an IHSA postseason event.
Game will be on WBGZ radio and the NFHS Network.
EAWR will host a regional boys basketball game tomorrow, Saturday at 2 pm. As this is an IHSA postseason event, passes are not accepted (this includes season passes, student passes, conference passes, etc)

Due to the potential for hazardous conditions and low temperatures tomorrow morning EAWR will be canceling all classes for Friday February 18, 2022. Jason Shaw loses in the state quarterfinals to Blakely of Dakota. Jason has had a fantastic career and can still wrestle back for a chance at third place in the state. OilerNation is so proud of you Jason. Keep your head up and keep battling!
Aaron Niemeyer loses in the state quarterfinals to Nelson of Richmond Burton. Niemeyer will head to wrestle backs where he can still work his way back for a chance at third place. Just in: Tonight's girls basketball regional final and 3 point contest at Roxana High School has been cancelled tonight due to the dangerous road conditions.
At the state tournament in Champaign, Jason Shaw and Aaron Niemeyer have won their firs round matches. Drake Champlin will wrestle later today. All matches are live on NFHS Network. A photo of Jason was posted to Twitter by a local media member and is attached.
